Pt2399 circuit

The PT2399 is a single chip echo processor IC utilizing CMOS technology. Which accept analog audio input signal, a high sample rate ADC transfer the analog signal into a bit stream then storage to internal 44Kbit RAM, after processing the bit stream will de-modulate by DAC and lowpass filter.

What is Echo circuit?

Introduction: PT2399 ECHO CIRCUIT This circuit is used to create echo sound or voice in our audio signal. This circuit can repeat sound. We can also change the number of repeats by a potentiometer and we can further change the delay time between these repeats.

How does a bucket brigade chip work?

The “buckets” in a BBD come in the form of a series of capacitors inside the chip. Capacitors “carry” the signal much like the buckets carry the water. Because the capacitors are continuously filling and emptying, this slows down or “delays” the signal as it takes more time to pass through the BBD.

Why is it called echo?

The word echo derives from the Greek ἠχώ (ēchō), itself from ἦχος (ēchos), "sound". Echo in the Greek folk story is a mountain nymph whose ability to speak was cursed, leaving her able only to repeat the last words spoken to her.

What are the different types of echo?

What are the different types of echocardiogram?

  • Transthoracic echocardiogram.
  • Transesophageal echocardiogram.
  • Exercise stress echocardiogram.

What is reverberation and echo?

Echo is a single reflection of a sound wave off a surface. Reverberation is the sound or the pattern created by the superposition of such echoes.

Why is it called bucket brigade?

Bucket Brigade Devices are chips that contain lots of capacitors that delay audio signals. The name is derived from an old fire-mans technique where a line of people would pass buckets of water. They are used frequently in analogue delay pedals and stompboxes.

Is a bucket brigade efficient?

The most important benefit of using Bucket brigades is an increase in picking efficiency, which is based on two things. The first reason is that Bucket brigades are self-balancing and will reduce blocking.

Are bucket brigades faster?

The coordination of workers using a bucket brigade model can speed up manufacturing and also move finished products out of warehouses and into the hands of customers faster than many older methods.

How echo is produced?

An echo is a sound that is repeated because the sound waves are reflected back. Sound waves can bounce off smooth, hard objects in the same way as a rubber ball bounces off the ground. Although the direction of the sound changes, the echo sounds the same as the original sound.

What is the formula of echo?

If we know the speed of sound and the time it takes for the echo to be detected, we can use the equation: Speed = to work out distances. Distance = speed x time.

What are the uses of echo?

Echoes are used by bats, dolphins and fisherman to detect an object / obstruction. They are also used in SONAR (Sound navigation and ranging) and RADAR(Radio detection and ranging) to detect an obstacle.

What are the three types of echoes?

Types of echocardiograms

  • Transesophageal echocardiogram. A transesophageal echocardiogram is a scan that provides detailed images of the heart.
  • Transthoracic echocardiogram. A transthoracic echocardiogram is the most common form of echocardiogram. ...
  • Stress echocardiogram.

What are the three conditions for echo?

Conditions for echoes:

  • The minimum distance between the source of the sound and the reflector should be at least. 17. 2m.
  • The size of the reflector must be large, as compared to the wavelength of the incident sound.
  • The intensity or loudness of the sound waves must be sufficient.

What is a normal echo?

A normal EF is about 55-65 per cent. It's important to understand that “normal” is not 100 per cent. Measuring the EF helps your doctor to understand how well the heart is pumping. Generally an EF below 40 per cent is considered a sign that the heart is not pumping as well as it should.

What are the 3 types of reverb?

5 Types of Reverb Explained: Hall, Chamber, Room, Plate, and...

  • Hall Reverb. Hall reverbs replicate the sound of a concert hall.
  • Chamber Reverb. Chamber reverbs are similar to halls, delivering a lush, ambience-soaked sound. ...
  • Room Reverb. ...
  • Plate Reverb.

What is called reverberation?

What is reverberation? Reverberation is the phenomenon of persistence of sound after it has been stopped as a result of multiple reflections from surfaces such as furniture, people, air, etc. within a closed surface.

What causes reverberation?

Reverberation is created when a sound or signal is reflected causing numerous reflections to build up and then decay as the sound is absorbed by the surfaces of objects in the space – which could include furniture, people, and air.

Why is it called Bambi Bucket?

Why it's called a Bambi Bucket after the jump: "Bambi Bucket" isn't a nickname. It's actually a trademarked name owned by Canadian industrial fabrics manufacturer SEI Industries ("We Engineer Solutions).

What does Bambi Bucket stand for?

Bambi-bucket definition (trademark) A collapsible bucket suspended from a helicopter performing firefighting operations and used for lifting and dumping water or fire retardant chemicals.
